Lovely house and rooms. Dinner at hotel restaurant was excellent. Staff wear several hats so sometimes service can be slow if they are assisting another guest with a time-consuming issue.

The hotel was quaint with dedicated personnel from one senior member of staff. They gave us a neat and bright room with table in front of a large window looking out on to the gardens, view of the garden and Prosecco. Central location was a plus.

The location is excellent, the staff were very customer focussed, professional and friendly, the room was very nice and clean and the taxi driver taking me to my business address in the moerning was very professional and friendly
I could not smoke - common practice nowadays .. my issue / not the hotels ..

The grounds of this hotel are very relaxing and have quite good historical connections - a tree that is reputed to have been planted by Queen Elizabeth I for instance.
There was no elevator access to the major rooms, which was a surprise for a 4 star hotel, but the staff were very helpful with wheelchair access to the main entrance.

The receptionist that checked us in went out of her way to help us as it was my husband's 40th birthday and as a special treat I booked this hotel. I booked it as the website depicted a four poster bed in the room description. The room we were allocated did not, however the receptionist managed to swap rooms and we had a wonderful stay.

What a Gem. The Taplow House Hotel is beautiful and a wonderfully romantic place to stay. The staff are a credit to the owners.

definitely visit next time
The room was spacious with great amenities like a coffee machine and a tv. The spa had excellent facilities, including a sauna and a relaxing hot tub. Breakfast had a good variety, and dinner offered beautifully presented dishes. Staff members were mostly attentive and helpful throughout our stay.

Perfect for a solo escape
The staff, always professional and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was just wonderful, fresh ingredients and very tasty, made my mornings worthwhile.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but given the quality it was still acceptable.
